How to Pack a Vaporizer

A vaporizer helps keep moisture in the air by generating and releasing hot steam, which in turn keeps your body and skin hydrated. Singer Allison Cornell packs a vaporizer on every trip to help keep her hotel room -- and her vocal chords -- from getting too dry, according to an interview she gave to Linda Eder's Official Fan Newsletter. If you have a head cold, a vaporizer can help clear your sinuses. Bringing a vaporizer along on your next trip or move is a smart way to stay comfortable in many environments

Instructions

    • 1

Empty any remaining water from the vaporizer.

    • 2

Dry the inside of the water compartment thoroughly. Use a towel wrapped in a chopstick to dry hard-to-reach crevices. Leave the compartment out to air dry overnight if possible.

    • 3

      Replace the water tank.

    • 4

Wrap the electric cord around the vaporizer, or remove it and wrap it separately if possible.

    • 5

Wrap the vaporizer in a towel or a piece of thick clothing such as a sweatshirt to avoid jostling in a box or suitcase. Place it in your box or suitcase. Use other items to tightly nestle it in place so it does not move around.
