Open a Web browser on your computer and go to a website that calculates distances between cities.
Select the option to "Get Directions."
Enter the first location in the "A" text box and enter the second location in the "B" text box. You can enter zip codes, city and state pairs or the complete address information for the locations.
Click the "Get Directions" button to display the distance in miles between the two locations in the United States.
