Short of physically driving the road between two towns with your trip odometer set at zero at the outset of your journey, the best way to find the distance between two towns is to use an online distance calculator. These can be found all over the Internet, and commonly at Google Maps, Mapquest or the like. Microsoft even has a software package called Streets and Trips with the same ability.
