Consider using a baby carrier to eliminate the hassle of a stroller. In many lines for the rides, you must leave your stroller outside, so you would have to hold your baby. You can always rent a stroller on Main Street if you need one.
Take breaks. Plan on spending time at longer sit-down attractions such as the Tiki Room, Pirates of the Caribbean, Small World and the Jungle Cruise.
Bring lots of diapers and at least 2 outfits to the theme park. Make sure these clothes are comfortable, suited for the weather and easy to put on and take off. Bring your own snacks for your baby.
Protect your baby from the sun. Summers at Disneyland can be torrid. If your baby is less than six months old, you will not be able to apply sun block, so you will have to keep your baby's skin covered to prevent exposure.
Do not take your baby on the roller coasters and avoid the spookier rides such as the Haunted Mansion. If you have family members that want to go on the roller coasters, speak to a cast member about the "Baby Switch" option. With this option, one person can stay with the baby, while the others can go on the ride. Later, the adults can switch with the help of a cast member.
Stay on a regular schedule with nap times and regular eating times so your baby won't wear down.
Utilize the Baby Center on Main Street at Disneyland. The Baby Center has high chairs, changing tables and private breastfeeding areas. It also sells diapers, formula, bottles and other items. This is a great place to take a break with your baby.
