How to Use a Disney Gift Card At T-Rex

Whether you have an appetite for carnivorous fare or a leafy bite only an herbivore could love, you're welcome to use a Disney gift card to pay for your meal at the dinosaur-themed T-Rex Café in Orlando. T-Rex Café is one of several restaurants and retail locations in the Downtown Disney complex that accept gift cards, which visitors can use to pay for entry or lodging at the Walt Disney World resorts, theme parks and water parks.

Instructions

    • 1

Present your Disney gift card to your server at T-Rex Café when the bill drops for payment, just as you would with cash, credit card or other payment. Meals at T-Rex Café ranged from $15 to $36 per person at publication date, and Disney gift cards held values from $5 to $1,500. If the value of your gift card is less than the total of your bill, present a second form of payment to cover the remainder.

    • 2

Review your receipt for errors by your server once he returns your Disney gift card, as well as any other card you used to complete payment. If errors exist, direct them to the attention of your server so he can refund questionable charges to your card.

    • 3

Return your Disney gift card to your wallet or pocketbook. These gift cards are akin to cash, so return them to an appropriate place for safekeeping. If you have a balance remaining on the Disney gift card, continue to use the card until you have depleted funds, or reload the card at locations that sell it.
