For a touch of elegance with a Cuban flair, head downtown to the Havana Social Club. It is not necessary to be a member to go to the club, but there are membership benefits, including private humidor lockers. The club has fine cigars, rum cocktails and is known for its mojitos. The interior features a modern, Cuban touch with plush, black leather furniture. Also offered by the club are private cigar rolling classes with the in-house master roller.

A bit more on the casual side is the Absinthe Lounge and Cigar Bar. Absinthe is housed in the historic, art nouveau building first constructed by Sears and Roebuck on Lamar Street. The atmosphere is hip and management asks that you dress casually in your club clothes. Sportswear or team logos, however, are prohibited. In addition to cigars, patrons will find live music, DJ nights, open-mic events and art exhibitions. Every night from 4 to 9 p.m. is happy hour.
