Also known as "The Ranch," Sidewinders serves a predominantly country-western, leather and jeans-wearing crowd, but welcomes all visitors. The large dance floor is used nightly for both line dancing and country-western dancing. One of New Mexico's oldest gay bars, originally opened in 1990, Sidewinders offers a full bar and frequent drink specials. Events such as karaoke and a "beer blast" are regularly featured. Sidewinders is open Sunday and Monday from 2 p.m. to midnight and Tuesday through Saturday from 2 p.m. until 2 a.m.
