How to Renew My Moldavian Passport

Moldova (formerly Moldavia) is an independent Democratic Republic landlocked between Romania and the Ukraine. Even though its citizens are well educated, it is among the poorest countries in Europe, according to the Radio Free Europe website. About a quarter of working aged Moldavians are living and working outside their homeland. The Moldavian government allows its expatriate citizens to renew their passports without having to return to Moldavia. Passport renewals can be processed through the Moldavian Embassy in the country the expatriate is working in.
