How to get a Canadian Visa for a Girl that is About to be Married

A person engaged to a Canadian citizen can apply for a visa to immigrate to Canada. Since you are not technically the spouse of a Canadian citizen, you must be classified as a common-law partner or conjugal partner in order to apply for a visa. Unlike many countries, there are no fiance visa options in Canada. You must have lived together for at least 12 months to be classified as a common law partner, or show that you were prevented from living together to be classified as a conjugal partner. Some situations that would prevent you from living together would be immigration barriers or being married to someone else. You can apply for a visa through the Citizenship and Immigration Service of Canada.
