Apply for the visa in person at the Mexican Consulate of Seattle at 2132 Third Ave., Seattle, WA 98121. An appointment is required for all applicants.
Complete a visa application at the consulate or download the form before your appointment if you want to save time (see resources).
Provide a valid passport and one color passport photo 2 by 2 inches in size, taken against a white background.
Present a letter from your employer confirming your occupation if you're employed or an official proof of enrollment from a university if you're a student. Recent bank statements or international credit card statements also may be required as proof of income if applicable.
Pay the visa processing fee of $30 in cash. Personal checks, credit cards and money orders are not accepted at the Mexican Consulate. Your visa is processed in 24 hours and will be available for collection the next business day.
