How to Get a Tourist Visa in Rome
Visas are required for all travelers except for those who are from a country that is a member of the European Union, European Free Trade Association or Schengen Acquis. Nationals from the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua, Singapore, South Korea or Venezuela, among others, do not require a visa for visits lasting less than 90 days. Common visits include missions, business trips, sporting events and general vacations plans. For any stay longer than 90 days, regardless of the purpose, the traveler must have a visa.
