Open Microsoft Publisher (these instructions apply for Publisher 2000 and above) and click on "Flyers." Next, click on "Informational" under the "Flyers" heading and select your favorite design. Double-click on the design to open it.

Double-click on one of the text boxes to change the text inside--enter the text for your flyer: dates of the trip, time, location of pickup, cost and any other relevant information. Click on a blank area of the document after you are done entering your information. To move a text box, just drag it to another location. Repeat step for other text boxes you want to change. To delete an unwanted text box, click once on the box and then press the "Delete" key.

Right-click on the graphic currently on the flyer template. A menu will appear. Scroll down to "Change Picture," then "Clip Art." The "Insert Clip Art Task Pane" will appear on the left side of your screen. Type the word "bus" or other search word in the box. Publisher will search its clip art library and all available art containing "bus" will appear. To insert the clip art, double-click on the graphic and it will replace the current picture on the flyer.

Click "Insert" from the main Publisher toolbar at the top of your screen if you want to insert a picture from your personal files. Scroll down and click on "Picture," "From File." An "Open" box will appear. Click on the down arrow at the top of the box to navigate to the directory containing the file you want to insert. After locating the file, double-click on the file name to insert it in your document.

Rearrange the graphics and text boxes to your liking. Delete any elements you don't want--any extra unused text boxes or graphics. Check over the flyer and make any needed changes. If everything is OK, click "File," "Save As" and enter a name in the "File Name" box. Then click "Save" to save your flyer.

Click "File," "Print Preview" to see how the flyer will be printed. To make a change, click "Close." If everything is OK, click "Print" and a "Print Properties" box will appear. Load your paper if you haven't done so already. Change the "Number of copies" to the amount you want to print and then click "OK" to print the flyer.
