How to Change a Name on a Passport

Changing your name on your passport is not difficult if you have all of the required forms and information. If you have changed your name within 1 year of the passport's issuance, then you do not have to pay a fee for the name change service. However, if it has been more than 1 year since the passport was issued, then you have to pay the renewal fee.
