Houston Raceway Park hosts a Saturday Weekly Race Series every Saturday night during the racing season, March through October. The event features racers that "battle each week for track championship points and cash purses." The racers compete in six different classes and fans can watch the cars racing at speeds over 100 miles per hour on the quarter-mile clay oval track. The facility offers food and drinks including alcoholic beverages for purchase inside the track.

According to the website, Link offers two levels, two bars, and many VIP sections to enjoy the dancing, drinks, and people. Saturday nights at the Link Lounge are called "Fabulous Seductive Indulgent" Saturdays and are open to a 21 years and older crowd. DJ David Cruz plays the music and hosts the party which goes late and offers drink specials and events.

Scott Gertner's Sports Bar Live hosts an event in Houston on Saturday nights that is focused around College Football. The "College Football and After Party" features projection screens and several High Definition Plasma televisions to view the games both inside and on the outdoor patio. There is no cover and no parking fee, as well as many drink and food specials such as "you call its" and 25 cent wings. The "After Party" features DJ King, music, and dancing.
