    • Santos beaches offer children the opportunity to go swimming, create sand castles and play in the Frog Fountain, an area that features fountains, a skate park and a place to go bicycling. It also features a very large beach garden that stretches for four kilometers. Children can also view boats docked off the beach or watch them come and go. The weather is usually hotter and more humid from around November through March, but it is nice enough to give your child plenty of beach time. There is usually a tourist information booth set up in Bandeiras Square, which is close to Gonzaga Beach.

    Santos Football Club Stadium

    • This soccer stadium features a memorial to soccer great, Pele, and also a Trophy Room dedicated to awards in sports like basketball, volleyball, judo, karate and both amateur and professional soccer. There are over 500 trophies and awards crammed into this room. If soccer season is in full swing, catch a game, and your children will have fun listening to the noise of the crowd, the cries of the announcers and the fun of the game itself. Or, take a tour of the facility, and learn about the history of the place and the greats who have played here. The stadium can fit up to 30,000 fans.     Marine Life

    • The Santos Sea Museum allows children to view the major marine life that live throughout Brazil, the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean and other areas of the world. The collection includes over 21,000 samples of mollusks from around the world, making this collection the largest in the country, and it includes two Tridacna Gigas, which is a bivalve mollusk and is the largest known specimen of its type. Children who enjoy the sea may also be interested in the nearby Municipal Aquarium, which has exhibits that feature over 200 species of both freshwater and marine animals, and the aquarium has over 30 tanks.
