      Get to know St. Thomas before heading there. St. Thomas has a rich pirate history and learning about it can be a great adventure. This 31-square mile island is also home to wonderful markets, where honeymooners can shop till they drop. Also, no honeymoon is complete without long walks on the beach, so check out exotic beaches like Pineapple and Sugar beach.

      Find a hotel--this is the home base of any honeymoon adventure. Hotels like Wyndham Sugar Bay on the beach offers great views surrounded by tropical forests while Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina has a marina right on it's beach. Marriot Frenchman's Reef is up high on a hill with a great view and has a more private, intimate beach.

      Visit Mountain Top, a world famous attraction where you can see over 20 different islands from the top of St. Peter Mountain. Enjoy a banana daiquiri or two while you're gazing out over the water with your loved one.

      Shop on Main Street in Charlotte Amalie, There are many unique gift shops, fabulous jewelry shops and places to eat. It's the main artery of St. Thomas and honeymooners can easily spend a few hours there.

      Lounge around at some of St. Thomas' beautiful beaches including Lindberg Bay, Coki Point, Morning Star Pineapple, Sugar or Sapphire beach. Stay for hours and close out the day with a spectacular sunset or two.
