The Sport has a fresh-water capacity of 10 gallons, and it will sleep up to five people. Its features include a seamless domed fiberglass roof and safety equipment, including a dual safety chain hitch, fire extinguisher, propane/carbon monoxide alarm and smoke alarm.
One step up in price and size, the Jay series model sleeps eight. It weighs 2,005 pounds empty, is about 17 feet long, and has a fresh-water capacity of 23 gallons. Its features include a propane/electric refrigerator and a self-storing awning. Unlike most other camping trailers, it offers a water purification system as well as a water heater. It can be equipped with a roof-mounted air conditioner.
The Select model is 18 feet long and weighs up to 2,780 pounds empty. It sleeps six to eight people and offers two king-size beds. Among its features are a multi-media sound system and a built-in microwave. This model also offers the option of a bath/shower room with hard walls, and a bump-out dinette that seats six or more. Select models are priced from about $15,000.
Jayco's Baja model is the ultimate in comfort in a tent trailer, but is nearly the same size as the Select model. The Baja weighs about 2,535 pounds and is 20 feet long, and it's priced from about $16,000. Its features include a bath/shower room and a fresh-water capacity of 35 gallons, and it also has a waste-water capacity of 16 gallons. This model allows for storage of bicycles and other small equipment on a bike deck built onto the trailer, with a capacity of 1,500 pounds.
