The National Theater and Concert Hall, which sit side by side in downtown Taipei, offer dance, ballet, opera and kabuki performances by local and international artists.

Go to the Taipei Taiwan Temple, the 31st temple established by the Mormon religion. It is one of a handful of Mormon centers in Asia and Taiwan's home for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This is a great place to experience a western religion from a Taiwanese perspective.
