Kids Camps in Sierra Madrid, Spain

Spending a summer abroad is an enlightening experience for any child. Learning the customs of a different culture will benefit in learning and accepting differences between people. If the child learns a new language in the process, the life benefits are innumerable.

As of 2010, the Spanish population in the U.S. is on a steady rise, so a summer in Spain's capitol, Madrid, is a most logical decision, and Spanish language camps will assist when making conversation at home with people who may not speak English.
  1. Enfocamp Madrid

    • The Spanish language summer camp offered by Enforex is housed on the main campus of Francisco de Vitoria University. This lush and green property is able to support 120 to 180 campers ranging in age from 5 to 18 years old. Campers are supervised diligently and they have frequent interaction with locals since there is a 60 to 40 percent ratio among Spanish and international students, respectively.

Being a major university, all amenities are offered to make your child comfortable: three meals a day; a recreation/TV lounge; a gym including tennis, paddle and basketball courts, a soccer field and a multi-purpose athletic field. There are also computer labs with Internet access so your international child can keep in touch. If the entire family is vacationing in Spain, there is a day camp option available.

Enforex also offers excursions. Full day trips are destined for other cities in Spain such as Toledo, Salamanca and Segovia. Partial day field trips in Madrid include water parks and museums.
