Jeep Tours in Red River, New Mexico

The deep carve in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains has provided Red River, New Mexico, with ideal conditions for today’s ski resorts, but the town first came to prominence in the 1870s with the discovery of gold. For several years, Red River was a boom time for mining when copper and silver were added to the finds. Today, the town is a tourist destination, and the 1.5 million acres of national forest that surround it provide year-round outdoor and all-terrain thrills.
