Residing in North Central Indiana, the town of Kokomo, Indiana, as well as the surrounding region, plays host to a handful of RV campgrounds. The area, filled with wooded regions, creeks, lakes and rivers, offers excellent conditions for RV facilities. Due to blistery conditions, many of these campgrounds remain closed during the winter months but continue to offer storage services for RVs or boats.
The Springhill Campground resides 10 minutes from downtown Kokomo and just five minutes from the Green Acres Golf Course. The campground features a lake, or a pay pit, which guests can use for catch and release fishing. The RV park offers a bait shop which in turn also sells camping supplies and snacks. Some of the campground's RV sites feature full hook-ups, such as water, electricity and sewer. Picnic tables and fire pits sit scattered throughout the campgrounds as well.

Located 25 miles from Kokomo, France Park features more than 200 RV camping sites. The campground offers a waste station, as well as 130 sites equipped with water and electricity hook-ups. Many of the sites also provide fire rings and picnic tables. The surrounding region features waterfalls, hiking trails, a miniature golf course, a disc golf course and a swimming beach on the shores of the Kenith Stone Quarry. A fishing dock and a boat ramp also reside upon the quarry.

Situated one hour from Kokomo, Camp Timber Lake offers 60 sites reserved exclusively for RVs. The campground surrounds the 12-acre Timber Lake, which in turn boasts a swimming beach and excellent boating and fishing conditions. Guests may even rent boats from the campground. A hiking trail winds its way around the lake and the RV park's resident amphitheater. The campground also features a playground and disc golf facilities. The onsite general store sells such items as camping supplies, bait, snacks and drinks.
