Planning to include Universal Studios Hollywood on your next trip to Los Angeles?
Visitors to the theme park should be aware of minimum height requirements for some attractions and rides.
There is no general height requirement to enjoy the majority of Universal Studios Hollywood theme park, however, per the official visitors information FAQ, three popular rides have some restrictions for persons under 48 inches tall.
The Simpsons Ride™, an attraction the theme park describes as "a wild, over-the-top ride through the park... flying, floating...crashing...through...attractions, stunt shows, and thrill rides."
Jurassic Park® -- The Ride, is touted by Universal Studios Hollywood as a "phenomenal interactive ride that thrusts guests into the living, breathing, prehistoric world of Jurassic Park...where stormy skies are pierced by colossal, three-dimensional, five-story dinosaurs."
Revenge of the Mummy™ - The Ride, is, according to Universal Studios Hollywood, "a roller coaster that taps into rider's primal fears through immersion in a total multisensory environment."
Attractions and safety regulations are subject to change. To keep guests informed and safe, Universal Studios Hollywood has instructional signs posted at individual attractions and rides that have height requirements.
