The Yamaha Roadstar Warrior can reach higher speeds than previous cruiser bikes that were made for riding straight road around 60 mph. This is due to its 100 foot-pound torque and large 200 series rear tire.
The Roadstar Warrior's front fork and rear suspension damping force give it high stability and handling. The close-ratio five-speed transmission gives the Roadstar Warrior a feeling of real acceleration while coming out of corners and turns.
The Roadstar Warrior has a high-displacement engine that requires a large, high-volume muffler to ensure high output. The bike also has a narrow V-bank, which forced its creators to use a 40 mm downdraft-type Bosch twin-bore fuel-injection system (instead of using conventional carburetors).
