Eagle Mountain Casino is in Porterville, California, where State Highways 65 and 190 meet. The full-service Eagle Mountain casino has slots, table games and video poker, plus it offers live entertainment, a buffet, steakhouse and food court.     • Deer Creek is the only RV park in Porterville and, while it doesn't have its own website, the campground has been inspected and rated by Woodall's. The RV park is located on Main Street, two minutes southeast of State Highway 65. It offers travelers 78 full hookup sites with 20-, 30- and 50-amp service, plus a separate dump station. Some sites are set aside for long-term residents and tents are also available. Onsite amenities include a fishing pond, laundry room, Internet access, recreation hall, volleyball court, horseshoes and a playing field.

    Pixley RV Resort

    • Pixley RV Resort is located on State Highway 99, approximately 23 miles southwest of Porterville. The RV park offers 90 pull-through spaces with full hookups. Facilities include a pool with spa, laundry room and games area with pool table, horseshoes, shuffleboard and volleyball. There's a separate area for barbecues and a central clubhouse with kitchen. The RV park offers discounts for AAA and Good Sam Club members. Pixley Park borders the RV park on the west, and restaurants within walking distance include Perez Taqueria and Burger Shack.

    Tule Campground

    • Tule Campground is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground on Success Lake, 8 miles east of Porterville. The campground has 103 sites, 29 with electrical hookups, and its lakeside location with boat ramp provides for water sports. On summer weekends, rangers run campfire programs. Campground facilities include an amphitheater, playground, wheelchair-accessible bathrooms, dump station and marina.

    Wishon Campground

    • Wishon Campground is a Sequoia National Forest campground within the Sequoia National Monument. It's approximately 30 minutes from Porterville and can accommodate tents and RV's up to 22 feet long. The 39 spaces are located at 3,900 feet, beside the Middle Fork of the North Fork Tule River. Trout fishing is available, as is hiking, horseback riding and bicycling. The campground is open year-round.
