Located among Northern California’s vast redwood tree forests is the aptly named Redwood River Resort. Here, guests will find both tent sites as well as campsites with RV hookups. No electricity or water is provided at tent sites, but there is a general store that sells ice, jugs of wate, and even portable generators for those who need some electricity.
All sites have picnic tables and fire pits, and most are under full or partial shade provided by massive redwoods. Activities here include foosball and ping-pong in the indoor recreation room, and volleyball and horseshoes outside.
The campground is also located along the Eel River, to which guests have private access to the water and the two swimming pools located in the river.

The River Rest Resort offers campsites located along the South Yuba River, with most of the tent sites being located right on the riverbank. RV sites can be found here as well, though some might not be on the water, though all the campsites are a short walk away.
At the general store, large inflatable tubes can be rented for lazy floating down the river. There are also many trails and roads zigzagging through the campground that are perfect for hiking, jogging, biking, or even driving ATV’s.
Campsites at the resort vary in size, though they do have some combination of water and/or electricity available, even at tent sites.
