Clear Lake State Park is in Kelseyville, just over two hours northwest of Sacramento in northwestern California. Redwoods River Resort is in Leggett, about 2 1/2 hours hours north of Santa Rosa in western California. Surrounded by ancient giant redwood trees along the winding Eel River, the park has 50 campsites suitable for tents, trailers and RVs of all sizes. Campsites are wooded and have a gravel pad, electricity hookup, water and sewer hookup, a picnic table and fire ring with barbecue grill. The campground offers a variety of services such as bathrooms and shower houses, a convenience store, coin-operated laundry facility, boat launch and wireless Internet access. Water features at this campground include private access to the Eel River and a heated outdoor swimming pool. Other amenities include a game room, horseshoe pits, volleyball and shuffleboard courts, miles of nature trails, boating and fishing, lakeside picnic areas and children's playgrounds. Yucaipa Regional Park is in Southern California, just over an hour east of Los Angeles in Yucaipa. Nestled in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, the park offers several tent sites as well as 47 campsites suitable for trailers and RVs. Campsites feature a paved patio, electricity hookup, water and sewer hookup, picnic table and fire pit. The campground offers several services including bathrooms and shower houses, a convenience store, bait shop, snack bar and sanitary dump station. A main attraction of this campground is the one-acre swim lagoon, which features a 350-foot flume water slide and a 290-foot tube water slide. Guests can also rent aqua cycles and paddle-boats for use on the private lagoon. Other campground amenities include fishing piers, horseshoe pits, a volleyball court, children's playground, nature trails and picnic areas. The park is pet-friendly and is open year-round.
