Caspar Beach RV Park & Campground is located across the road from Caspar Beach, about 3 miles north of the town of Mendocino. It offers full hookup RV sites and rustic tent sites, which all include picnic tables and fire rings. An on-site convenience store carries groceries, camping supplies and beach gear; it also rents kayaks and surfboards. Facility amenities include modern restrooms, coin-operated showers and a coin-operated laundry room. Beach access is across the road from the entrance where guests can surf, scuba dive and kayak in the Pacific Ocean.
Sonoma Coast State Park is located between the coastal towns of Jenner and Bodega Bay, along Highway 1. It offers four campgrounds with more than 150 rustic RV and tent campsites that offer either direct beach access, or are within 100 yards of the beach. Each campsite is private and includes a picnic table and fire ring. Two of the campgrounds include modern restrooms and running water; the other two are walk-in sites with no amenities. The park has several picnic pavilions and hiking trails that run along the beach and inland hills.
Manchester Beach KOA borders Manchester State Beach just north of Manchester. The campground offers views of the Pacific Ocean and is less then a quarter-mile walk from the beach. It offers full hookup RV sites and partial hookup tent sites, which all include picnic tables and fire rings. Facility amenities include a banquet room with common kitchen, snack bar and camp store, plus modern restrooms and private showers. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool with large sundeck, 18-hole disc golf course, hot tub, horseshoe pits, volleyball court and various planned activities.
