Big Meadow Family Campground is located on Little River 14 miles southeast of Maryville in Townsend, Tennessee. It offers RV sites that include a full hookup and concrete pad along with RV and tent sites that include level grass pad and partial hookups. All sites include a picnic table and fire ring as well as access to modern restrooms and private showers. Facility amenities include a coin-operated guest laundry, covered picnic pavilion with bathrooms and a large playground. Recreational amenities include trout fishing in the Little River, paved bike trails and tube rentals for the river available next door.

Mountaineer Campground is located on a wooded tract 13 miles to the southeast of Maryville. It features full and partial hook-up campsites with some river-front sites available. Sites include a gravel or concrete patio, picnic table and fire ring. Mountaineer Campground also has several cabins with full kitchens and provided linens available for rent. Facility amenities include a convenience store, bathhouse and coin-operated guest laundry along with a dump station and propane fill station. Recreation amenities include an outdoor swimming pool with patio seating area, playground and paved bike trails. There are several fishing access points on the Little River as well as a canoe and kayak launch area.
