Campgrounds by the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire

The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire takes place on the grounds of the Mount Hope Estate and Winery in Manheim, Pennsylvania, on weekends (and Labor Day Monday) in August, September and October. Manheim is between Lebanon and Lancaster, and the area is Pennsylvania Dutch country, with communities of Amish and Mennonite people and many farms. Grab some yummy Amish baked goods for breakfast, spend your days among the knights, ladies, musicians, jugglers and craftspeople at the Faire and get your sleep at one of the local campgrounds in your tent, RV or cabin.
  1. Pinch Pond Family Campground and RV Park

    • A family-owned campground in Manheim, Pinch Pond has a total of 186 RV sites, five tent spaces and nine cottage/cabin rentals in a mixture of shady and sunny spots. Each site has a campfire ring and picnic table. The facility includes a pool, a fishing pond, laundry, store, game room and recreation room. Because it's close to the interstate and a gun club, Pinch Pond can be noisy. Pets, in particular, might find the sounds of gunfire unnerving.

    Gretna Oaks Camping

    • Across the street from Pinch Pond, Gretna Oaks is a small campground with 37 spaces, each including a fire ring and picnic table. Sites are generally level and well-shaded. The campground has laundry facilities and offers organized activities. Guests can also use the facilities at Pinch Pond, Gretna Oaks' sister campground.

    Pennsylvania Dutch Country Outdoor World

    • The Pennsylvania Dutch Country Outdoor World campground in Manheim has 243 spaces. The park is wooded and hilly in spots, so you might want to look around for one of the more level sites. The facility also includes a basketball court, clubhouse, horseshoe pits, miniature golf, a swimming pool open during the summer, video games, laundry and a store.

    Old Mill Stream Campground

    • The Old Mill Stream Campground in Lancaster is about 30 minutes from Manheim. The campground has 160 mostly wooded sites, almost all with full hookups, two laundry facilities and a store. The noise of the adjacent Dutch Wonderland Family Amusement Park can be disturbing for those at nearby campsites, but the amusement park's waterplay area, Duke's Lagoon, compensates for the lack of a pool at the Old Mill Stream. Reviewers on the RV Park Reviews website praise the Old Mill Stream as a well-kept campground with clean bathrooms and a friendly staff.
