Campgrounds in Door County, WI

Door County, Wis., is the place to go when you are looking for a vacation with lighthouses, small boutiques and shops, rustic scenery and campgrounds that take you back to the days when living outdoors was a way of life.     • Wagon Trail Campground has 140 sites on the north side of the peninsula only a short walk from Lake Michigan and bordering Mink River Nature Conservancy Preserve. Wagon Trail is equipped with pull-through RV sites and separate tent sites with full hookups as well as cabins available for rent. The campground also has free WiFi, restrooms with showers, picnic tables and fire rings in each campsite and a dump station. Conveniences include a laundry, playground and game room for campers and an adult sitting room with a fireplace. Walk one of the trails to Sand Bay Beach or Wagon Trail Resort, where there is a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner.

    Aqualand Camp Resort

    • The Aqualand Camp Resort has Internet access, showers and an outdoor pool. There are 150 campsites that each have fire rings, picnic tables and full hookups surrounded by evergreen, birch and maple trees. Laundry facilities and grocery stores are close to the camp, and restaurants and shopping boutiques are just 5 miles away. Peninsula State Park is a short drive or long walk away; hike or climb to the top of Lookout Tower to enjoy the view.

    Beantown Campground

    • Beantown Campground is located a mile from Baileys Harbor and features 78 campsites, 41 of which are pull-through sites. Cabin and camper rentals are available. There are separate tenting and separate group campsites, and each have fire rings and picnic tables as well as electric, water and sewer hookups. Conveniences include wireless Internet, showers, satellite TV, a playground and an outdoor pool. Enjoy the restaurants and shopping of nearby Baileys Harbor, or go fishing on Lake Michigan or hiking on one of the trails near the campground.
