Blackwater River State Park is a public, state-run park located around 40 miles northeast of Pensacola. The park features 30 dirt sites, each with full hookups, picnic tables, a fire-pit and a grill. The sites are all back-ins and can accommodate RVs up to 45 feet long or tent camping. Restrooms, showers, a waste dump and firewood are available at the park. The campground is the start of the Juniper Lake Trail, a path for hikers that leads along the Blackwater River. A playground is available for children, and campers can swim, boat and fish in the river.
