Visit the Delta Air Lines website.
Click on the "Welcome Back Log In Now" tab located in the top left hand corner. When the login screen appears, input your SkyMiles number or your email address, your four-digit pin and your last name into the boxes provided. Then click on the red "login" button to proceed. You will be directed to your home screen and will be able to view how many award points you currently have.
Click on "Use Miles" located on the far right hand side of the screen. A web page will appear titled "Use Miles." Click on SkyMiles Marketplace in the center of the screen and you will be taken to the "SkyMiles Marketplace" page.
Click on "Book a Hotel/Rent a Car" under the SkyMiles Marketplace menu on the left hand side of the screen and a box for reservation searches will appear. Make sure the Hotel tab is selected, input your destination of choice, check-in and check-out information, number of rooms and guests and click the blue "Search" button. You will be directed to a list of hotels, including description, reviews, pictures and the number of miles points needed to book for each listing. Marriott hotels are the first ones listed on the page.
Click "Continue" under the Marriott hotel of your choice. You will be directed to a page with the room types of your chosen hotel. Click "Continue" under the room type of your choice. You will be directed to your itinerary where you will see the total miles needed for your itinerary, any additional cost if you do not have enough miles required for the entire stay and an overview of your trip details. Click "Continue" at the bottom of the page.
Input the traveler information on the next screen. You will be asked for name, address, email and phone number. Click "Continue" once you've entered this information and you will be directed to a payment screen. If you do not have enough miles to cover the reservation you will be asked for a credit card and billing address. Enter your credit card information and click "Book Now." If you do have enough reward points to cover the reservation, continue scrolling to the bottom of the page and click "Book Now." The SkyMiles will be debited from your account and used as Marriott Reward points.
Print your confirmation page and bring it to the hotel with you on your reservation date.
