How to Register for Delta SkyMiles

Registering for Delta Air Lines' frequent flyer program, called SkyMiles, takes just a minute or two to do online. Once you sign up for the program, you can log into your account any time, check in for flights and print boarding cards, manage your itineraries and redeem your Delta mileage for award travel. You can also receive credit for flights you took on the airline up to 30 days before you enrolled for SkyMiles.

     Visit the Delta website.

     Click "Join SkyMiles Today" in the lower left area of the page.

     Fill out the online form in its entirety. Leave the box, "Yes! I would like to apply for a Gold Delta SkyMiles Credit Card from American Express" unchecked, unless you wish to apply for the credit card.

     Hit "Continue." Print the page on the next screen. Cut and fold the temporary SkyMiles card until your permanent card arrives in the mail.
