Open an Internet browser and go to the SkyMiles webpage. If you are a new user with a SkyMiles account, click "SkyMiles Enrollment" to create your PIN and account name.

Click the "Marketplace" link. Direct the browser to "Gift Cards" and shop for the cards of your choice. Select the cards based on how many miles are deducted from your SkyMiles account. Make sure you have the available miles in your account.
Go to the check-out page and remit payment via the SkyMiles account. Provide the address for a physical gift card to be sent, or when possible, request e-mail gift cards for use at online retail sites.
