How to Redeem WorldPerks
Northwest Airlines merged with Delta Airlines in 2008 because of financial difficulties. As a result, the customer reward program known as WorldPerks rolled into the main Delta rewards scheme, SkyMiles. Both frequent flyer programs work in a similar way. Travelers earn miles to put toward free flights, upgrades and discounts by flying with the carrier often at full price. For a flight less than $100, the ticket will cost you 25,000 SkyMiles. For a flight between $100 and $250, 10,000 SkyMiles is good for $100 off the fare, and you may use portions of your SkyMiles balance to cover the entire fare.

Visit Delta.com to check your SkyMiles balance to make sure you have at least 10,000 miles to redeem.

Follow the link that reads "Award Ticket" on Delta's website. Enter your travel details and dates.

Select your fare. The cost is displayed in the number of SkyMiles plus taxes and fees on the right-hand side of the page.

Log-in to your SkyMiles membership page to enter passenger details. Pay the balance of the airfare with your SkyMiles. Taxes and fees may be paid by credit card.
