The Timber Ridge Horse Campground sits next to the Big South Fork National River and Recreational Area. This campground offers tent sites, RV campsites, cabin rentals and 50 stalls for horses. All campers have access to the common area, which is equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, stove, dining tables, grills and a 61-inch flat-screen television. Catoosa Ridge Stables is a campground in Crossville that offers 30 campsites, three cabins and 68 horse stalls. Campsites include electricity, picnic tables, water and fire pits. Some even have sewer hookups. Facilities include a dump station and bathhouses. Barns have concrete walkways, lights at nighttime and 20 padded stalls. Campers have access to the numerous trails of the 90,000-acre Catoosa Wildlife Management Area. In addition, the campground encompasses 50 miles of on-site private trails.
