Huntington State Park, at an elevation of 5,800 feet, offers 22 RV camping sites for vehicles up to 30 feet long. Although there are no hook-ups for camping, the park does have drinking water, showers, restrooms and a sewage disposal station. Camping is limited to a 14-day maximum stay.
A covered pavilion may be reserved for large groups and there are multiple individual picnic areas. The Huntington Reservoir provides opportunities for swimming, boating, water skiing and fishing. The warm water features bluegill and largemouth bass. A boat ramp and temporary boat slips are available.
Huntington State Park is open year round except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The entry fee structure allows for day use, annual passes, overnight camping or group use. Hiking and biking trails are located nearby.

Millsite State Park features a 435-acre lake and 20 camping sites for RVs up to 30 feet long. The park offers drinking water, showers, restrooms, fire pits, picnic areas and a disposal station.
Activities include fishing, swimming, boating, picnicking and golfing at the adjacent nine-hole golf course. There are trails for biking, off-highway vehicles, hiking and horseback riding.
Two pavilions are available for group use by reservation. Other amenities include a beach and a boat launch.
The park is at an elevation of 6,100 feet and is open all year except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Fees provide for day use, annual passes, overnight camping or group use. Camping stays are limited to 14 days.

Goblin Valley State Park is just a short distance from Huntington, in Green River. At an elevation of 5,100 feet, it features unusual, goblin-like rock formations that were caused by erosion.
There are 24 spacious campsites that can accommodate large RVs. Each site includes paved parking, a picnic table and grill. Park amenities include showers, drinking water, restrooms, sanitary dumping station, hiking trails and visitor center.
A pavilion is available by reservation for large groups. The observation overlook allows visitors to look down into Goblin Valley and there are nearby trails for off road vehicles and bikes. For more adventurous visitors, the Little Wild Horse/Bell Canyon trail is 5 miles from Goblin Valley. It is a slot canyon that features some narrow areas that are only shoulder width. It is not recommended if rain is anticipated due to the risk of flash floods.
