Williams, Arizona RV Campgrounds

Located approximately 35 miles east of Flagstaff and 55 miles south of Grand Canyon National Park, Williams, Arizona offers a number of attractions, including the Grand Canyon Railway, Flinstones Bedrock City theme park and the Wild West Junction and Territorial Museum. Outdoor lovers and recreational vehicle campers have a variety of campgrounds to choose from, including privately owned RV parks and public spaces.   1. Canyon Gateway RV Park

    • Located near the southern entrance of Grand Canyon National Park, Canyon Gateway RV Park offers 101 gravel sites for recreational vehicle camping. Approximately half of the lots have a specialized design that enables RV drivers to pull into the space rather than backing into it. All spaces measure 20 feet in width and 45 to 60 feet in length and have full electric, water and sewage hookups. The park offers free wireless Internet, and campers can also connect to cable television and Internet service at every campsite. Picnic tables are also available at each spot. For camper's convenience, the park offers restrooms, showers and laundry facilities. A gas station, convenience store and restaurant are adjacent to the property.

    Grand Canyon Railway RV Park

    • The Grand Canyon Railway RV Park is at the depot for the Grand Canyon Railway, an antique train that makes daily trips to Grand Canyon National Park and is a popular attraction with tourists. The park consists of 124 paved campsites, the majority of which have a pull-through layout. All of the lots provide hookups for electricity, water, sewage and cable. Wireless Internet is accessible throughout the park. On-site amenities include restrooms, showers, a public phone, a picnic pavilion equipped with gas grills and laundry facilities. The park also operates a restaurant and small store that sells basic groceries and RV supplies at the campground. For recreations, campers can enjoy the park's heated swimming pool and hot tub. The campground also offers, a fitness trail, horseshoe pits, basketball and volleyball courts, a playground and an indoor gameroom.

    Kaibab National Forest

    • A public facility maintained by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service, Kaibab National Forest features three recreational vehicle campgrounds in Williams: Dogtown Lake with 51 dirt campsites, Kaibab Lake with 65 paved campsites and White Horse Lake with 86 gravel campsites. At each campground, around half of the spots are pull-through. None of the campgrounds offer electric, water or sewage hookups, but all three provide a waste dump. Pit toilets and drinking water are also available throughout the Kaibab National Forest RV campgrounds. Campers can freshwater fish or boat at any of the campgrounds. The national forest imposes a 14-day maximum length for all stays at the campgrounds. Reservations are not accepted; all camping is first-come, first-served.
