Chula Vista RV Resort is a five-star rated RV park in Chula Vista. The 237 sites available are all bordered to ensure privacy and include full hook-ups. The resort includes a general store, pool, spa, golf course, slip marina, fitness center, bike paths and other basic amenities like laundry facilities and showers. One or two pets under 20 pounds are allowed and as of 2010, the fee was $1 per day, $6 per week or $20 per month per pet. Two full-service restaurants are available at the resort and it is located close to Sea World, San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park.
Shady Lane RV Park is a smaller park located in El Cajon, a small community of San Diego. The park provides 26 RV sites for motor homes and 15 sites for single-wide mobile homes. All spaces have electrical hook up as well as outside amenities like phones, cable, laundry service and trash pick up. There is no restroom or shower facilities on the premises. As of 2010, Shady Lane only rents per month at a rate of $450. Pets are available but limited to under a certain weight and number. Its an hour from the Mexican border, 20 minutes from the beach and an hour to California forests.
The San Diego RV Resort and Park is located in the La Mesa area of San Diego. All 174 sites include electricity, cable connection, Wi-Fi access and high speed Internet connection. Its a gated community with a fitness center, heated pool, meeting room, showers, laundry facilities, propane, conference hall and a television lounge. Pets are allowed throughout the entire resort. Its conveniently located to San Diego's attractions and offers trolley services for an additional fee. As of 2010, standard rates were $40 per day, $255 per week or $625 per month though larger RVs may be subjected to a higher rate.
