As a citizen of Honduras, you must have a passport issued by Honduran authorities to travel internationally. Before you can get a passport, you must apply for it.
Gather the relevant documents you will need to get your Honduras passport. You must have a birth certificate and/or an identification card. You will also need proof that you are a citizen of Honduras. An original copy of your birth certificate can serve as proof of citizenship.
Visit the Honduran consulate or embassy to apply for a Honduras passport. If you lose your passport in another country, you will have to visit the Honduran embassy to have a new passport issued.
Complete your passport application in its entirety. Any information missing from your application may result in a denial of your application. Bring identification and proof of citizenship when you complete the passport application.
Submit your passport application and fee to the Honduran government or embassy. When your application and fee has been submitted, you have officially applied for your Honduras passport.
Wait to find out if your application has been accepted or denied. If accepted, you will receive your passport in several weeks. If you have been denied, you will be notified and given an opportunity to reapply in the future.
