Located on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, Meadow Brook Hall is the fourth-largest historic house museum in the U.S. The historic mansion was built in the 1920s by the widow of auto pioneer John Dodge. The Tudor revival-style mansion features a collection of original art and furnishings. You can either rent the banquet hall or hold an outdoor banquet event on the grounds of one of the beautiful gardens at Meadow Brook. The Pegasus Garden features a mythological sculpture and a beautiful garden setting full of flowers and plants. The Rock Garden is a large, open floral garden with sandstone rocks carved into the hillside. The indoor banquet ballroom is perfect for smaller indoor get-togethers and seats up to 170 people.
