Like many seaside Florida vacation destinations, the beach is the main attraction. Along Hutchinson Island's 23 miles of coastline are a number of beaches and state parks, where visitors can enjoy the sand and surf. Dollman Beach on south Hutchinson Island in St. Lucie County spans more than 140 acres and includes a dune crossover and pavilions where beach goers can picnic or rest in the shade. Visitors to nearby Herman's Bay Beach Access, also on south Hutchinson Island, can fish off of the boardwalk, enjoy an outdoor lunch at one of the beach's picnic tables or pavilions or simply take in the clear blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
