To ensure the best dining experience possible, select the restaurants you want to eat at before your vacation and make reservations. These can be booked up to 180 days in advance and are strongly recommended at many of Epcot's fine dining locations. In World Showcase, you can enjoy food from around the world, from French cuisine at Les Chef de France to authentic Mediterranean fare at Restaurant Marrakesh. The Le Cellier Steakhouse is a popular choice for steak and seafood. The Coral Reef Restaurant offers an entrancing atmosphere with an aquarium of tropical fish surrounding the dining area. The Akershus Royal Banquet Hall offers character dining with the Disney princesses and Chip 'n' Dale and their friends can be found at the Garden Grill Restaurant.
The first attraction you will come upon, if entering the park from the main entrance, is Spaceship Earth. Early in the day this ride will have a long line as guests tend to stop here on the way in. If you come back later in the day, you'll often find that you can walk right on. Head to Soarin' early in the day or get a FastPass for this extremely popular attraction to avoid waits that frequently last more than an hour.
Epcot offers some often overlooked activities for adults and children alike. Children can decorate a mask and take it around to Kidcot locations throughout the park to collect various charms which hang on the side of the mask. Guests of any age can purchase a passport kit which has pages for special stamps which they can collect at various countries throughout World Showcase.
Live performances take place throughout Epcot with entertainers ranging from musicians to acrobats. Grab a times guide at any merchandise location in the park to ensure that you get a chance to see all your favorite shows. As you explore World Showcase, you can experience entertainment styles from around the globe including Japanese Taiko drumming, belly dancing and Chinese acrobatics. The Fife and Drum Corps performs in America, the British Invasion Beatles tribute band can be found in the United Kingdom and the Celtic rock band Off Kilter plays in Canada.
