Hold your Streamlight 3C vertically, with the bulb housing facing up. Twist off the bulb housing, counter-clockwise. Carefully set aside the bulb housing, and the bulb inside of the housing -- take care not to drop the bulb out of the housing.
Insert the C batteries into the Streamlight 3C's handle -- make sure to insert the batteries negative (-) side first.
Place the bulb and bulb housing combination back on top of the Streamlight 3C's handle. Screw the bulb housing back onto the Streamlight 3C's handle.
Press the button at the back of the handle to toggle the flashlight on and off -- give it a slight push to generate a brief signal flash.
