How to Get a Jamaican Passport While in the U.S.A

If you are a Jamaican citizen living in America, you don't have to send your application to Jamaica to get a new passport. Jamaican embassies and consulates in several American cities issue Jamaican passports. Applications must be accompanied by a number of documents, including passport photos, proof of Jamaican citizenship and a passport application fee. Passport applications typically take four to six weeks to process.
