      Determine if you are eligible to get a particular replacement birth certificate in Oklahoma. Birth certificates may be issued to the person who is the subject or to parents, spouses, and some other family members. Legal representatives can obtain a certified copy under some circumstances.       Apply by mail by sending a completed application form, the required identification document(s) and a check or money order for the fee made out to "Vital Records Service." Processing usually takes about 4 weeks. If you wish to expedite your application, send it by US Postal Service Express Mail and include a prepaid return Express Mail envelope. Expedited applications are usually processed in 48 to 72 hours. Do not use other delivery services like Federal Express. The application will be processed, but will not be expedited.
