How to Get a Visa to Go to America

If you plan on traveling to the United States for recreation, tourism or visiting its residents, you must get a B-2 tourist visa. The B-2 visa provides a traveler with permission for entry for 90 days. You cannot apply for a B-2 tourist visa if you intend to work, study or permanently reside in the States. The U.S. government recognizes that some applicants intend to overstay their trip, so you will have to sufficiently prove that you won't.
