How to Assemble a Greatland 10x10 Tent

If you purchased your Greatland 10 x 10 tent used and it did not come with directions, or you haven't used it in a while and misplaced the assembly instructions, don't panic. Greatland tents are manufactured for Target stores by NorthPole Limited, one of the largest tent manufacturers in the world. One of the reasons NorthPole Limited's tents are so popular is because they have streamlined tent assembly by incorporating flexible tent poles and hooks built into the tent fabric itself. These features make these tents much easier to assemble than some other models.

Instructions

    • 1

Lay your Greatland tent out on a flat area with the door positioned where you want it. Locate the main tent poles, and make sure they are fully extended. Slide them through the center sleeves of the tent. With one person grasping each end of the first extended tent pole, bend it so that both ends fit into the metal grommets on the diagonal corners at the base of the tent. Repeat this process for the second extended tent pole.

    • 2

Fully extend all of the side poles and slip them through the fabric slide pole sleeves. Pull them down and secure the ends by securing them into the grommets located along the bottom of your tent.

    • 3

Fully extend the ridge pole and put it on top of the two main tent poles. Place the ends of the ridge pole in the grommets that are located in the middle of the side pole sleeves. Clip the J-hook attachment found at the top of the tent to the ridge pole.

    • 4

Fasten the tent securely to the ground by hammering tent stakes into the rings located around the bottom of the tent.

    • 5

Thread the rainfly support pole through the sleeve located on the underside of the rainfly. Lay the rainfly on top of the tent with the pole centered over the door. Fasten the pole ends into the metal grommets on the sides of the tent door. Use the buckles on the tent fabric and the rainfly to secure the rainfly to the tent, and the nylon ties on the bottom of the rainfly to attach the rainfly to the tent poles.
