Budget for your move. Rates for U-Haul trucks run between $20 and $40, with an additional 59 to 79 cents per mile.
Reserve your truck. There are three ways to do this: online (see Resources for reservations), by calling (800) 468-4285 or by visiting your local U-Haul store.
