Visit northern Indiana to travel along the Lake Michigan shoreline and Amish country. Stop at the Indiana Dunes State Park in Porter County or Amish Acres in Nappanee, Indiana for beautiful scenery, great shopping and old fashioned dining. Travel State Road 12 in northwest Indiana or State Road 6 through Amish Country.
Take the 49-mile tour of Brown County in central Indiana. This winding, hilly trip goes through Brown County State Park and the small, artist colony of Nashville, Indiana. Stop at one of the many boutiques, galleries and shops or area restaurants.
Drive the Ohio River Scenic Byway. Indiana's most famous scenic route, this hilly, 303-mile course is tucked away in the southwestern area of the state and is rich with rock outcroppings, limestone bluffs, caves and diverse wildlife. Head to southern Indiana in the fall and travel the 80-mile Autumn Loop that begins in Bedford, Indiana. The hilly landscape comes alive with an outstanding array of colors in the autumn months. Stop by Spring Mill State Park or the Blue Spring Caverns for an outdoor adventure or hike.
